DoubleTree Downtown Chicago Hotel Policies

DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago Magnificent Mile considers the needs of all our guests in the formation of our hotel policies.  From pets to payment and everything in between, our team is happy to help answer any questions you may have pre and post stay.


All reservations must be guaranteed by credit card, group master, or direct bill.  Advance deposits are required for advance purchase reservations only; deposit is taken at time of reservation.


Cancellation policies may vary depending on the rate or dates of your reservation.  Please refer to your reservation confirmation to verify your cancellation policy.  If you need further assistance, call the hotel directly or contact customer service.  Alternatively, you can cancel your reservation online.  

Diamond members are allowed until 6pm for same day cancellation.  Flight delays, cancellations, death in family, and weather all fall under the informal 'act of god clause', with same day cancellation approved.

Early/Late Departure

A $50 fee applies for early departure (prior to originally booked check-out date UNLESS guest amends check-out at time of check-in). A late departure fee is half of the room charge until 4pm, then full night charge applies.

Our smoking fine is $250 per room, a 1-bedroom suite would be $500, and a 2-bedroom suite would be $750
